please don’t come near me

tears fall into rain

into a lake

into an ocean

into my mouth

down to my soul

it burns as it swells

into a tsunami that

ruins my insides

organs and bursting through veins

a clot removes my nerves

my numb fingertips

press to my cracked eyes

the wave crawls

up my throat

and tumbles out of my mouth

taking my bones and muscles

and arteries with it’s violent path

my eyes crumble and fall to

the floor in shards of glass

and diamonds

my body is consumed

bursting to pieces

atoms colliding into space

a dying star 

my body shatters

and my brain stays behind

to watch the destruction
